No. I do not offer posed studio newborn photography, wrapped poses, composite images, or advanced newborn posing. My newborn sessions are lifestyle-based, meaning baby is photographed naturally and safely with parents, siblings, and family members.

Lifestyle newborn sessions can take place in several locations, including your home, a studio, the hospital for a Fresh 48 session, or even outdoors at locations like the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Dallas Arboretum, or other beautiful DFW locations.

A Fresh 48 session takes place at the hospital within the first couple of days after baby is born. These sessions are focused on documenting those brand-new moments before you leave the hospital — tiny details, first snuggles, siblings meeting baby, and the emotions of welcoming your little one.

It’s best to reach out while you’re still pregnant so we can talk through your due date and session plans ahead of time. Since babies arrive on their own schedule, we’ll stay flexible and finalize timing once baby is here.

Yes. Newborn sessions are completely baby-led. If baby needs to eat, be changed, snuggled, soothed, or take a break, we allow time for that. Newborn sessions are intentionally a little longer than my standard sessions so there is room for feeding, diaper changes, and anything baby may need.

Yes, depending on the collection you choose. Lifestyle newborn sessions can include parents, siblings, household family members, and extended family if included in your selected package.

Yes, absolutely. I have photographed breastfeeding moments multiple times, and as a mom myself, I believe those images can be incredibly meaningful to have. Breastfeeding photos are always optional and will never be shared publicly if you do not want them shared.

That is completely okay. There is no additional charge for keeping your baby’s images private. I do not believe you should have to pay extra to protect your child’s privacy. If you tell me you are not comfortable with your baby being posted, your baby will not be shared on my website, social media, or anywhere else. No questions asked.

I recommend having a few simple areas with natural light available if possible, such as the nursery, bedroom, or living room. You can also have swaddles, blankets, baby outfits, bows, name signs, keepsakes, or any sentimental items ready if you’d like them included.

No. Please do not stress about your home being perfect. We can move small items as needed and focus on the areas with the best light. Your home does not need to look like a magazine for your newborn photos to be beautiful and meaningful.

Lifestyle newborn galleries are delivered within 1-2 weeks or sooner. All best images are professionally edited and delivered in both color and black & white through an online gallery with unlimited downloads.
