What should we bring to our engagement or couples session?
I love incorporating meaningful items into sessions. This could be a Bible, guitar, picnic setup, champagne, favorite books, your dog, a vintage car, sports gear, or anything that represents your relationship and personalities.
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Honestly? Most couples tell me this before their session. My job is to guide you through the entire experience using movement, prompts, conversation, and natural interactions. You don't need modeling experience—I promise.
What should we expect during our session?
Lots of movement, laughter, hugs, kisses, dancing, walking, spinning, running, and genuine connection. I focus on helping couples interact naturally rather than standing stiffly and looking at the camera the entire time. I typically start my couples & engagement sessions out with a walking while holding hands prompt to get you loose and used to being in front of the camera :)
What should we wear?
Choose outfits that coordinate rather than match exactly. Neutral colors, earth tones, and timeless styles tend to photograph best. I also recommend selecting outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident.
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! Dogs are part of the family too. Just make sure the location allows pets and bring water, treats, and a leash.
