Hi Y'all! I am Chelsea :)

A self-taught photographer, boy mom, and the heart behind Moments Into Memories. I’m based in Haslet, Texas and serve weddings, couples, families and senior grads across the DFW and North Texas area.

My love for photography started long before I ever picked up a professional camera. Growing up in East Texas, I was always the kid with a disposable camera in hand. My Nana would take my sister and me to get them developed, and we’d sit and go through every photo together. Over time, those little stacks of prints turned into boxes and boxes of memories.

After losing my best friend in 2016 and my Nana in 2018, those photos became more than just pictures — they became everything. That’s when I truly understood how powerful a single image can be.

In 2021, I picked up my first “real” camera, and what started as a hobby quickly turned into something much bigger. I realized I didn’t just love taking photos — I loved preserving the moments people never want to forget.

Life has a way of reminding us how fragile it can be. In 2019, I was in a severe car accident that nearly resulted in the amputation of my right leg. After multiple surgeries and a long recovery, I was able to walk again — and today, I’m keeping up with my two-year-old son and our busy little home here in Fort Worth. That season of my life changed my perspective on everything.

It’s a big part of why I believe so deeply in capturing the “right now.” Not the perfect version of life — but the real one. The messy, loud, beautiful, in-between moments that make up your story.

As a mom, I understand how quickly these seasons pass. The days can feel long, but the years move fast. That’s why my approach to photography is simple: I’ll guide you when needed, but I also give space for real moments to happen naturally. I don’t expect perfection — I embrace personality, connection, and the little things that make your story yours.

Whether I’m photographing a wedding day, a couple in love, a growing family or a graduating senior, my goal is always the same — to create images that feel genuine, emotional, and timeless.

I’m here to give you something to hold onto years from now — just like my Nana did for me 🤍

What it’s like to work with me

I know being in front of a camera can feel intimidating — especially if you’re not used to it. That’s why I focus on creating an environment that feels relaxed, easy, and even fun. I’m very laid back and easy to talk to, so sessions never feel stiff or uncomfortable.

I’ll guide you the entire time when needed, but I also leave room for natural moments to happen. My sessions are a mix of movement, candid interactions, and real posed shots — so you’ll walk away with a gallery that feels both natural and polished.

I also take the time to work with each person individually. Whether that’s finding your “good side,” being mindful of things you may feel self-conscious about, or simply helping you feel more confident in front of the camera — my goal is for you to not only love your photos, but feel good while taking them too.

Why clients choose me

A lot of my clients come back to me again and again, and that truly means everything to me 🤍

They choose me because I’m not just there to take photos — I’m there to make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and taken care of from start to finish. I put a lot of intention into every session, making sure your experience is just as good as the final gallery.

I also offer fast turnaround times (typically 3–7 business days for sessions and 2-5 weeks for weddings), because I know how exciting it is to receive your photos and relive those moments. Being a stay-at-home mom allows me to pour my time and energy into my business, so you’re not waiting weeks and weeks for your gallery.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to give you a gallery that feels like you — full of genuine moments, real connection, and memories you’ll actually want to hold onto.

If that sounds like the kind of experience you’ve been looking for, I’d love to connect with you 🤍
